Forms Processing can be broadly defined as a process by which one can capture information entered into data fields of a form and convert it into data or field of a database.
The process enables the user to:

To recognize ‘printed’ or ‘hand-written’ images

Convert the ‘images’ to ‘data’

Populate the ‘captured’ data in a suitable database for future processing

The form is ‘scanned’ to deliver an image of the form to the ‘application’. This image is then recognized and converted into data. The data is captured from various zones of data and stored in database.
